What to Expect

Your first step is a free 20-minute consultation appointment with Dr. McMahon to share what brings you to therapy. Dr. McMahon will also conduct a brief screener to determine if Mile High Core Solutions is the right fit for your needs.

After the consultation, your next 2-3 appointments are spent thoroughly reviewing your concerns and treatment goals. We will work together as a team to create a personalized treatment plan. These initial appointments also give us an opportunity to decide if we are a good match for therapy.

After our first 2-3 sessions, we will execute your treatment plan and help you accomplish your goals. We will continuously check-in on your progress throughout therapy.

Consultation

Clients are scheduled for a free 20-minute video appointment to complete a brief screener and learn about therapy with Dr. McMahon.

Initial Intake Appointment

The first telehealth appointment will cover your concerns, goals for treatment, and other important background information. The first appointment is billed at a rate of $230 and usually lasts about 60 minutes.

Psychotherapy

Standard telehealth psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes and are billed at a rate of $230.

Insurance Information

Mile High Core Solutions does not accept insurance. Clients can request a superbill to provide to their insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement. Not all insurance providers reimburse out-of-network care. Clients are encouraged to speak directly with their insurance to ask questions about benefits.

Good Faith Estimates

Under the ‘No Surprises Act,’ clients who do not use insurance (or choose not to use insurance benefits) have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of non-emergency items or services.

  • You have the right to ask for a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your scheduled service.

  • You may also request a written estimate before scheduling a service.

  • You have the right to dispute a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate
